Before you open that PDF.
Can I edit the text already in my PDF?
Yes. Open a PDF with selectable text, click a paragraph and start typing. Select words to change their font, size, color, bold or italic styling. The editor reconstructs the document so longer paragraphs can flow onto additional pages.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
No. You can open, edit and download your PDF without creating an account or paying for a subscription.
Does my PDF get uploaded?
No. The editor reads and processes the PDF in your browser. PDF contents are not sent to a server by this app. Download your edited file before closing or refreshing the tab.
Will my original layout stay exactly the same?
The editor tries to preserve fonts, colors and artwork, but complex layouts can change when reconstructed. Always review the result. Edited pages are saved as images inside the downloaded PDF, so text on those pages is not selectable. Unchanged pages keep their original content.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
For pages without selectable text, choose Recognize English text in the editor. Review the recognized words carefully before downloading. Handwriting and low-quality scans may not be recognized accurately.
What files can I open?
Open one PDF at a time, up to 50 MB and 200 pages. Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked before opening. Performance depends on your device and the complexity of the document.
